Oral Hygiene
Yes, there are still people with poor oral hygiene. To prevent vascular
disease, heart disease, and offer a nice breath to a fellow dancer, follow the three part rule.
Floss Properly (See below)
Brush Properly (See
below)
Gargle Properly (See
below)
In that order every night before bed. That means no misses
even when sick or tired or ‘sick and tired’ LOL.
Flossing
Properly Floss each tooth 10 times up and down on each side
then slide the floss out rather than lifting it out the way it came in. This saves dental costs on caps. Get
below the gum line by circling the tooth. Smell the floss from each tooth and if decay is smelled then floss
with some gargle in the mouth on that tooth. Stop quibbling about the time it takes. Just take the time. It’s
for your health.
Brushing
Properly Up and down on each tooth. Yes, this takes time
too. Get over it. Do it right.
Gargling
Properly Gargle for 30 seconds. That does not mean 25
seconds or 10 seconds or 3 seconds. It means 30 seconds by the clock. Science has shown how to do it right.
You don’t have to use the expansive brand names. The alternatives are just as good if they have the alcohols,
Menthol, Eucalyptol, Thymol.
